Regional Competition Competition is a major and fun part of the barbershop world that helps keep us focused on raising the bar of performing excellence. Choruses and quartets gather in Springfield, MA each spring and perform two songs on Symphony Hall stage. We cheer each other on, and once the medals have been handed out, we sing and party into the night!
International Sometime in the fall the winners of all regional contests -- and a few "wildcards" -- gather together at International competition. In 2011 International competition will be held in Houston, TX, October 18-22nd. You can view the complete contest on a live webcast on the Sweet Adelines International website. This is the ultimate female barbershop competition -- not to be missed!
